Manheim Township Boys Youth Lacrosse Club Registration

This is our previous Kindergarten through inexperienced 2nd Grade Program.  This is designed for beginner players new to Lacrosse.  All kindergarten and 1st graders should register for this team regardless of lacrosse experience, and for younger 2nd graders with no prior lacrosse skills instruction. 

There will be no equipment needed other than a full size lacrosse stick which can be purchased through the club.  We will use a soft lacrosse ball to teach the boys the basics of catching, throwing and ground ball play.  This program is designed to be fun and fast paced with emphasis on ejoying the game lacrosse.

This is our previous 2nd grade and inexperienced 3rd grade Program.  Inexperienced means any player who has not participated in previous league play. Anticipated start date April 6, 2021. 

Practices will be one Tuesdays, time and location TBD and select Saturdays based on Coaching availability.  Game days will be scheduled for Saturdays during April and May; times to be determined.

Our emphasis will be to introduce the kids to the basics of lacrosse with fun skills and games in an intramural atmosphere. Games will consist of 6v6 intramural play.   We hope to get the kids excited about lacrosse and prepare them for the next level when they will be introduced to league play.

We understand that many kids will be playing other sports and there will be conflicts.  That is quite acceptable; we will happily work with you.  This is the level to give lacrosse a try and see why lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in the country.    Please encourage any families that you think may also be interested to register their sons. The more kids the more fun.  We will provide the equipment.  The coaches can't wait to see the new members of the MT Lax Family!!!

This is our previous Experienced 3rd Grade (played organized Lacrosse) and 4th Grade Program. Anticipated start March 1, 2021.

This is the first level of league play. While it will be competitive the intent of this level to have fun and continue to develop basic lacrosse skills and knowledge. 

• There will be two (2) teams - BALANCED.
• This level plays 7v7 on small sided fields. 
• Practices are Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays, time and location TBD. .

• Games; Wednesday starting in April, inter-league, travel required. Locations will be provided.
• Full equipment;  Available through Club. Sticks, mouthguards and athletic cups are not provided.

The cost for this program will be $100. There will be a fundraiser during the year for each player with an opt out option if desired.

There is $25/child discount for the second child registered in MTBYLA. There is a $50 discount for the third child registered in MTBYLA.

This is our previous 5th and 6th Grade Program. Anticipated Start: March 2, 2021.

Teams: There will be two (2) BALANCED teams.
Practice: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, time and location TBD.
Location: Inter-league games, travel required. Locations will be provided.
Equipment: Full equipment is required. This can be borrowed from the club. Sticks, mouth guards and athletic cups are not provided.
Games:  Usually Thursdays and/or Saturdays, end of  March - Mid May.
Cost: The cost for this program will be $100. There will be a fundraiser during the year for each player with an opt out option if desired.

There is $25/child discount for the second child registered in MTBYLA. There is a $50 discount for the third child registered in MTBYLA.

This is our previous 7th and 8th grade program which will consist of two unbalanced teams.  Both teams are competitive with A typically made up of mostly 8th graders and B made up of mostly 7th graders. Anticipated start date March 1, 2021. 

Practices: Mandatory practices will be Monday through Thursdays. Practice times and location TBD.

Games: Games are typically on Thursday.

Tournaments: To be announced.

Equipment: Full equipment is required and is the responsibility of the player. Team issued Helmets will be provided. 

Cost: The cost of the program is $150 to register. There will be a fundraiser during the year for each player with an opt out option if desired.

There is $25/child discount for the second child registered in MTBYLA. There is a $50 discount for the third child registered in MTBYLA.
